The Cochran’s Ski and Ride Sale will be back in-person this year, with a few updates designed to make it our best sale yet! This year’s sale will take place outdoors on November 6 and 7 at Cochran’s Ski Area, 910 Cochran Road in Richmond, with consignment sign-up happening online in advance to enable a fast and efficient gear drop-off process.

Hours for the sale will be 8am – 4pm on Saturday and 9am to 1pm on Sunday. Shoppers can expect to find a lot of great gear at low prices, including alpine skiing, cross-country and snowboarding equipment, clothing, and accessories. As always, the sale will include gently-used consigned goods, as well as new gear from our vendors.

Consignment sign-up was online again this year—an innovation carried over from last year’s sale—and ran from October 20 – November 3 (Online consignment is now closed.)

Gear drop-off will be held from 6:00pm to 8:30pm on Friday, November 5 with pick-up scheduled for Sunday, November 7 from 1:30pm to 3:00pm for unsold items.

Volunteers, vendors, and shoppers will be asked to follow COVID-19 safety protocols throughout the weekend to help keep everyone safe, including wearing face coverings and practicing physical distancing when waiting in line, etc. Safety is always our top priority and we ask everyone to do their part.

Cochran’s Ski Sale has always been a great place to find affordable gear and good advice whether you are just starting out or a serious competitor. During the sale, our volunteers will be available to help answer questions about individual items and advise shoppers on the right gear for every level of skier or rider.
